Meet Rwanda's mountain gorillas.
This three-day package starts in Kigali and travels north through Rwanda's famous rolling hills to Volcanoes National Park. The centrepiece is a guided gorilla trek with park rangers and time to observe a habituated family in its natural forest habitat.
The package is a strong fit for first-time visitors with limited time. We can add Kigali visits, golden monkey trekking, extra nights or Lake Kivu before or after the core itinerary.

DAY 1
Kigali to Volcanoes National Park
Your guide welcomes you in Kigali before the scenic drive north. Watch Rwanda's hills and villages unfold, arrive near Musanze, check in and prepare for the trek.

DAY 2
Gorilla trekking experience
After an early breakfast, attend the park briefing and meet your ranger team. Trek time varies with the gorilla family's location. After the encounter, return to the lodge for lunch and a relaxed afternoon.

DAY 3
Volcanoes region to Kigali
Enjoy a final morning in the highlands, with an optional cultural or scenic stop depending on your departure time. Your guide returns you to Kigali or the airport.
